So, the stuff from the Smash Direct has settled now, so let's discuss it.
Alternate Costumes and Customizable movesets!
They seem to be a thing, which is pretty cool. Hopefully, every character will get some of this variation, I want Sonic to do more than just spin.
No more transformation Down-Bs!
Okay. It's nice that we get Zelda and Shiek as separate character. In the same vein, Samus and Zero-Suit Samus are also separate, and the Zero-Suit actually looks like something that could be worn into battle, and not just a latex thing.
A separate mode for "Stop Having Fun" Guys!
Good.
Stage Bosses!
This appears to be the role of Yellow Devil, Ridley, and Twinrova. Pretty cool.
Master Ball!
A Pokeball that only summons legendaries and no Goldeen? Want.
New Final Smashes!
Kirby gets the huge-ass sword from Return to Dreamland, which is much better than Cook Kirby.
Rosalina gets a more centralised version of PK Starstorm. Pretty good, makes sense.
Pit has the Three Sacred Treasures from Kid Icarus Uprising. Makes sense, and much better than the last one.
Mega Man gets beam-spam... backed up by other versions of himself. Okay, that's awesome. And if they have an X model, X as an alternate costume, please?
Lucario and Charizard get their Mega Evolutions. Sadly, it's Xzard (Sorry, but Yzard is just better), but Mega Lucario is awesome.
Greninja!
Probably the thing that please me the least out of everything that has been revealed since Greninja was revealed for X and Y. Yay, my least favourite starter is in the game. Even in HD, this thing's design is still ugly as sin, and it still reminds me of Miley Cyrus. I suppose at least I have a new punching bag, but seriously, Mewtwo and Blaziken were right there! Still, I suppose we might get another Pokemon character... it is their second most popular series, and Mario has more than five reps, but if we don't... le sigh. Both Delphox and Chesnaught would've been more interesting fighters than "generic ninja!"

So, what's going on?
So, I disappeared and went mostly radio silent for a couple of years again, what's happening? Well, a multitude of things, actually. 1) I collect disorders like Infinity Stones now. The past few years have been a long string of diagnoses for things that were always there but until now, weren't properly named. The big two are autism spectrum disorder, and anxiety and depression. If y'all knew me personally, this probably isn't a shock, it certainly wasn't a shock to me, but it sure as shit does explain things. Life isn't easy for me. Some days, I struggle to get out of bed. Some days, a long fall off a tall bridge sounds real fucking good, and what stops me is the possibility that it won't work. But I've been doing better lately. I have meds that keep me mostly on the level, help me get through the day, I have a therapist I speak to every other week, and other coping mechanisms that are working. The employment officials have backed the hell off from me so I have slightly less

Revival Returns 2021
My computer is fixed. Fucking finally. I'm going to take the Autumn to get myself back into the swing of writing, so I can get things going again. Thank you all for your patience.

Nintendo Logic: Gentlemen, we have finally made Charizard into a Dragon-type with Mega Charizard X. Let's promote this massive success by shoving it in every possible thing! In all reality, there could be a good chance that Charizard's Mega Evolutions randomly select between X and Y, which would be pretty cool, but they really need to stop favoring MegaZard X, especially since MegaZard Y is better competitively. (Smogon, please suspect test this fucker)
I don't mind Greninja being in the game, considering that he seemed like the most likely contender for a Smash Bros game. Sure, Delphox would have been able to work, seeing as she could have a mostly magic-based moveset like Zelda. Chesnaught, on the other hand, no. He would just end up being a Bowser clone if anything. (Don't worry, Chesnaught. I still love using you in competitive Pokemon battles!)
Regardless, I'm still incredibly hyped for this game! It will be the reason I get a Wii U!
